Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is surging higher in the polls that suggest she will win the big Pennsylvania democratic primary. She could become the first Woman to be elected president of the United States. Her campaign is strong and her message resonates with the voters. Will Senator Rodham Clinton bring our troops home from Iraq as she promises, or is this more campaign talk designed to win votes? There is no doubt that Senator Rodham Clinton is uniquely prepared to lead our Nation.
Senator Barack Obama is surging once again, after a week of plummeting in the polls around published news reports that have highlighted some very pointed racial remarks attributed to his church Pastor. Senator Obama gave a stirring speech this past week that encapsulated his willingness to lead the Nation as president of the United States. Senator Obama offers a new beginning and a new era for America. His campaign inspires and shows courage.
Senator John McCain is making the presidential campaign a referendum on his candidacy for president of the United States. McCain is a venerable one-time prisoner of war during the Vietnam conflict. He is a seasoned U.S. Senator who has been a moderate-conservative during his senatorial stewardship representing the great state of Arizona. Senator McCain is a patriot and has widespread support. It remains to be seen at this juncture, if he will choose a moderate or a conservative as his vice presidential running mate.
What do you think? Let me know. Thanks for reading this note

I strongly feel that these candidates must make a realistic effort in letting the american people know what their plans are to straighten the mess that the economy is in right now. And what they are going to do once the President leaves. We have not seen how bad the economy really is, I feel this is just the tip of the iceberg and when we do see it, we'll know that we have a problem.
President Bush unveiled a $2.90 trillion spending plan to Congress this morning that includes billions in additional funds to fight the war in Iraq. That is TRILLION'S OF DOLLARS NOT BILLIONS!
Is this man gone mad or is he really a tough cowboy that thinks he can whip any body outside of our borders and then when he packs his bags in January and rides back out west, who is going to take care of the big mess he is going to leave behind here in the great USA Certainly not Jon Mc Cain when all he wants to do is open a big resort for transient armed forces to resort there during their term of duty in the next 100 years, No offense to to those who have served so valiantly and given their lives for freedom and are patriotic. But we have to look at the whole picture of where we stand today.

The Weak U.S. Dollar Threatens National Sovereignty
A few months ago, I told my Xcelerated Profits Report readers that the U.S. "is in the process of badly debasing the dollar" and that the country will continue to lose any sense of "sovereignty" as long as the trend persisted.
Well, it's happening.
• The Fed cuts have stomped all over the dollar. And I've got news for you: The debasing is going to accelerate.
• The euro, British pound, Canadian dollar, the Australian and New Zealand dollars, and the Indian Rupee have all notched up either multi-year or all-time highs against the sad U.S. dollar this year.
• With the dollar rapidly losing value, the U.S. is essentially "on sale." If you don't believe me, consider that through the first nine months of 2007, the value of U.S. corporate acquisitions from overseas firms hit $257.4 billion, according to Thomson Financial - the highest since 2000.
• Then there's the $7.5 billion that the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority pumped into Citigroup a couple of weeks ago. Putting aside the credit crunch and financial sector meltdown, the weak dollar made this deal much more attractive for Abu Dhabi.
Remember when the War in Iraq used to be a hot topic in the media? Yeah, me neither. Five years after invading Iraq under the guise of ‘TERRORISM,’
And we all really fell for The secret agent myth that the CIA got out of Ian Flemings 007 action pack thriller that they had Tons of CHEMICAL WEAPONS.
That was good stuff I have to thank the Bush administration for keeping us so entertained.
The military is no closer to an exit strategy or to winning the war, for that matter. And mainstream media can’t be bothered. More U.S. soldiers succumbed to roadside bombs last week, bringing the total troop fatality close to 4,000; meanwhile a suicide bomber took the lives of 40 plus civilians and injured 60 others. According to Newsweek, Republican presidential nominee John McCain has vowed to stay in Iraq another 100 years, if that’s what it takes to ensure victory. The hubris isn’t much better on the Democratic side; during her victory speech after the Ohio and Texas primaries, Hillary Clinton promised to ‘win’ the war. First, somebody needs to define ‘win.’ Secondly, Clinton began her campaign with the false promise of implementing an exit strategy within 60 days of taking office.
Sorry I lost my train of thought, I hope that if any of these candidates do win they don't SLIDE AWAY onto something as less important than taking care of the real problems and issues we are having here at home.
