Talking To You Through This, My Space

Talking To You Through This , My Space.

I have always believed in the healing power of friendship that is predicated on nurturing good will, honest dialogue, and giving of one's self to help others, and to be a real friend, meaning, one can tell a friend what they need to know, not what they want to hear.
We can agree to disagree without being disagreeable.
Yes indeed. I love freedom of choice.
My journey through life has taken me many places. As I continue the research on the book of a lifetime, about a 19Th century individual who shaped the destiny of the United States, I think of the Women and Men who carved foot prints in the sands of time, and etched their everlasting legacy on posterity.
I see every venue that brings one close to a good friend or a new friend, as useful, as long as it is not a road that takes anyone on a path of ill-will or brings bad tidings. Some of my acquaintances have ventured into the Internet forays of MySpace, You Tube, and the Blogs. These are all good mediums. I have met many kind and interesting people on this Internet journey. Please know that my heart is in the right place if I come knocking at the door of your heart's well of friendship .
To make matters interesting on this journey, I am using the pseudonym of the "Author" whose name will go on that book, so don't look or feel surprised if the name starts with an E and ends with an R. Writers like me do that . Remember the author of all those great children's books of the 1950s and 60s? Dr. Seuss was not his real name, but we loved the characters he wrote about all the same, and we loved him for this. Who knows, you may wind up helping me write several chapters, or that last great chapter in the book. Publication is in late 2009. That's all I'll say about the book's deadline. Think of the lasting friendship that can be made on such a journey.

I'm a journeyman writer. If I knock on your door in this journey through life, be assured that I bring a friendship carved by a legacy and tradition that goes back many ages. My friendship is pure, clean, harmless, caring, good natured, and imbued with compassion.
Know that my heart is always in the mindset of doing good for others, promoting and doing random acts of kindness. Being nice costs you nothing and pays off in lots of affection and reciprocal kindness and gratitude, even when we do not want anything in return for being nice.
Can a Man be nice without being "fresh"? Absolutely! Can Men be caring, polite and compassionate without falling into stereotypes of "misplaced" machismo? Yes! Can a Man say to a Lady without regard to her age as long as she is 21 or over , "That's a pretty dress", and mean just that, nothing more?" Indeed.

I see the glass half full when others see it half empty.
I believe in personal redemption for those persons often scorned or turned away by the cruel hand of bigotry, innuendo, indifference, arrogance, or ignorance.
Do I like humor? Yes indeed. Do I understand there is a time and a place for everything as the Book of Ecclesiastes tells us in the Holy Scriptures? Yes. So if I am at a party, I rejoice with those who rejoice, and if I must attend a funeral, I solemnly weep with those who weep.
Life is wonderful. Let's be friends. Let me be a friend to you. Tell me what can I do for you to make your life more live able, to help improve your life, as you also enhance mine by your friendship. I'm not perfect, I don't know it all, don't need to a be a "know it all" either. I have many flaws, faults for sure.
But my heart is in the right place. If I have said a word of hurt to anyone, or my knock on the door to your life has been not to your liking? Please forgive me. I came in peace and in honest and selfless friendship. If I do not fit into your life as a friend? I"ll understand too, so go in peace with my prayers, and if you do not wish to hear from me again? I'll abide by your wishes and I will walk out of your life, into the posterity of the future and I will quickly become for you a figure from the past, never to be heard from again. I have never applauded naked cruelty toward any one, and I will never laugh or gloat over the misery of others. We are all beautiful on the inside, and all of us, every Human Being deserves a second chance at redemption. Let Heavenly Father walk with you, talk with you, and cradle you in His loving arms. In the forest of wisdom, the light that shines upon our lives comes from within our hearts, and this light shows the content of our character and the Heavenly Father's abiding love in us.

So smile, Heavenly Father loves you, and I love you all.
What do you think? Let me know.
I send my greetings to the Clawsons, the Farrs, the Archibolds, the Shaffers, the Ellsworths, Bishop Brignoni, Senator Gordon Smith. Marisol, Melody, Maria, Johnny, Henry O.
